I have a cool theme that is for AutoTheme but my PostNuke site only has Xanthia. How do I convert a AutoTheme theme to Xanthia?

Convert Autotheme to Xanthia

I would prefer knowing how to change a xanthia theme into the much more friendly AutoTheme format.
I make regular site format changes to most of my web sites to improve function and flow and to incorporate new innovations.
Unfortunately, with xanthia, making a minor change such as adding a simple side-block results in an hour's worth of extra work.

I think 0.8 will change your mind...
When does that come out?

I am waiting to see what the newest Xanthia brings I have installed 0.8 (testing) I cant see much change so far, I think the problem exists in the creation of blocks compared to AT hence the reason I stopped creating Xanthia themes, although I am hoping its ease of use changes.
Converting the theme isnt as huge as creating a theme but the caching was the initial problem with me, disable caching while doing this it may help ?-
Have a peek at the AT docs they will explain the tags then look at the Xanthia tags and file structure this will help

You must have looked at a different version than I did. Compared to the current production version of Xanthia, .8's theme system does much better dealing with block zones. It works pretty much like AT's updated blocks module did, it gets the zones from the theme. -
Yes, I agree with mhalbrook. The blocks in .8 are incredibly easier to deal with. Also, the file structure of a Xanthia theme has changed in .8, but the great part is that the new Themes module will convert them for you! Other than that, there is only one tag that has changed (for calling blocks) so the templates will require very little change.
