Transferring Users table from .726 to .762 the hard way, please help

  • Okay: in reference to earlier: (http://community.postnuke.com/module-Forum-viewtopic-topic-48993.htm)

    - I have done a completely clean install of PN .762, in a new area.
    - I have gotten my custom modules transferred over, as well as their information (uses its own tables, thankfully, rather than trying to use the existing reviews tables). At some point I might try to clean them up and make them upload-worthy in case someone else on here wants a Reviews and Articles module set for using old HTML-page articles on.
    - The stories table information all inserted correctly via mysql insertion.
    - The topics table information all inserted correctly via mysql insertion.
    - The various site traffic counting tables all prove to move correctly as well.

    -However-

The final thing I need to do is get my users table (usernames and passwords, etc) transferred over. When I try to do this, the mysql insertion goes off without a hitch, but all of the newly inserted users show a blank (rather than the news page and blocks) upon logging in.

Is there some formatting difference that I'm not seeing when I look at these tables inside of phpMyAdmin? Can anyone give me a hand getting these to transfer over? I've spent a great deal of time and effort trying to get .762 to work, and it's been highly frustrating, since every method of upgrade has broken at *some* point along the way.
  • Just in case anyone else searches this: the answer is that the group_membership table had to move over as well, as PN barfs if it can't figure out what group a username belongs to.

I'm hoping this is the last table that I have to worry about converting over.
This list is based on the users active over the last 60 minutes.
