Zikula Community

I installed PostNuke on my website tonight using Fantastico through my control panel. Everything works fine and I am loving the site, but when I tried to access the other themes, it says that the Xanthia ones won't work. So I clicked on the Xanthia icon in the Administration area, and it gave me the following error message:

Fatal error: Smarty error: unable to write to $compile_dir '/home/silver/public_html/pnTemp/pnRender_compiled'. Be sure $compile_dir is writable by the web server user. in /home/silver/public_html/includes/classes/Smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1083

Is this a problem with the Fantastico installation, or is there something extra I have to do to make Xanthia work?

My site is located at http://www.silver-rain.uni.cc/, and it installed PostNuke version 0.7.5.0.

The answer is in the error message... you need to make the pnTemp directory world writable (chmod 777).

Cool thanks. I didn't know what the $compile_dir was, so I wasn't really sure if CHMOD was the problem or not, but didn't know which directory or file needed it if so.

That got it all up and running though, so thanks! ^_^
