    I'm searching around and cannot find an answer for this. I want to have the 'Add Story' in my navigation menu. It is active in modules but does not show up in the menu.

    That's because only user capable modules show up when you check that option - AddStory is an admin only module.

    Just copy the link out of your admin menu and into your menu block.
