    Some people (such as myself) get a very dynamic IP from their ISP. icon_lol
    Never had to "use" it though lol.

    Anyway, I found an IP ban script on http://www.programmingsource.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=viewsdownload&sid=14
    I have not tried it out yet.

    and as for unplugging ur "USB DSL Modem for a week" all i ahve to say is "LoL" :)

    to change your IP, all it takes is a quick MAC spoof and bam, new ip in seconds after a quick renew. I wont go into detail on how to spoof your MAC, simply because this is not the right reason to learn it, nor is it the right place to post it. Most network based gateway's and adapters support MAC spoofing, Im sure even alot of usb dsl modems do. Forgive me If I'm a hardcore NIC man myself, wasting a usb port for something you could just install a NIC for just doesnt rub me in the right manner.

    lol, I have DSL and the IP changes by itself every few days at most. If I want a new IP right away all I have to do is unplug the modem for 1 second.

    Anyway, I'll let you know how that script is, if I can find someone to ban.
