    Hi All...

I have a three year old phpNuke portal with mainly a very active phpBB forum in it - but since I am moving to a new server I am considering migrating to PostNuke. I was able to successfully install PostNuke but I was wondering if somebody knows of a tutorial about importing the phpNuke database (I am thinking mainly of the users table and phpBB Forum data - posts, etc.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    Gab

You should be able to import PHPNuke users data, and if your installation is old, you may be able to use the scripts posted at news.postnuke.com a long time ago. Search for 'phpnuke bridge' on that domain and you should find the relevant article.

    Simon!

Thanks a lot for the tip! This is great! I need to look into it. I have phpNuke 6.5 currently. Do I apparently need to do all the upgrades mentioned to the latest phpNuke (7.x)?

    thanks,
    Gab

Sorry, I can't help you any further than the link to that news article. I have never done an import myself.
