I need module for download links.
For example, when is something to some free server, rapidshare or something, to add link to my site, and to open that link in new window.
I don't need description or something like that, just name and link.
Is there any module o script for that?
Thank you,
Zeljko

there's a downloads module already in Postnuke. It provides a link to an external file (file is on another server). If you want to be able to upload the file to the Postnuke server (your site), then there are other options. UpDownload & FileShare are ones that I'm evaluating at the moment. Or if you want media (photos etc), then Photoshare, Gallery, Coppermine are polular modules. -

Why not just include the HTML link in a news item, block, etc. Depends where on the site you want to link to appear. But it sounds like you can do what you want just using core postnuke functionality.
If you turn on the autolinks module, then all you need to do is paste the link URL into whatever you're doing. The rest is done automatically. Link and nothing else.
If you post a description of exactly what you want to do, I can try to help further. -

I want to set that users can send links also.
I have music portal and other stuff for download, and I want some module which will show links and name of that link - name of song or something, and that looks good, without description and othe stuff, just simple.
So when someone click in menu Download All Kind of Stuff to open that page in center block and list of links, and to open links in new window, so they stay on site.
I hope you understood :( -

I think I do. The problem is that the weblinks module that's part of PN hasn't been templated yet. :?
If it was you could just remove all parts that you don't want to show (i.e. description and other stuff) from the template.
In this news article you can find the links to the projects that deal with upgrading the weblinks module.
Maybe you can get a CVS version from the devs?
Good luck! -

If a module is templated, then you can display as much or as little info onscreen as you want...easily. My advice would be to try the suggested modules and look at the templates to see if you can tweak them into what you're after. And there's always PostNukePro if you end up stuck.
Good luck!
