Paypal Module, and uploading Jpeg's  Bottom

  • A WHILE back, I downloaded Nate's module for Paypal on my postnuke site:

Let me re-cap from an OLD post:

    http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=45981&highlight=paypal

I actually tried CHMOD 666 and 777, with no success.

Now Nate speaks of how it's a previous version of PPC, perhaps I need to upgrade?

ALSO, I noticed when you download the PPC, the PPC is in it's own exclusive directory. While the "Store Images" directory:

Let me give you a graphic here of the PPC Directly tree when you download it and export it.

I created the "Paypal Mod" folder myself, and exported Nate's compressed file here:

    http://www.fanboyonline.com/ppc_tree.jpg

As you can see the "Store Images" file is in it's own INDIVIDUAL tree....within the "images" directory....was figuring "why is this' at first...and not along with the "PayPalCart" directory

Because all I did was UPLOAD the "Paypal Cart" directly onto my server, activate it, and there I have a paypal cart W/O the "Store Images" directory

However, in the Config section of the paypal cart...it shows where you can edit where it's pointing to.

Anyhow, I was wondering if THAT had any thing to do with me not "seeing" my pictures that I attempted to upload.

All the while, my "storeimages" folder remained ON my Harddrive in the "images" folder.

If Nate, or any others could shed some light on this, I'd appreciate it.

    So
    1. Upgrade the cart (first of all I don't know how to upgrade, that's an entirely different procedure)

    2. Upgrade Postnuke? Actually, is there anyway I can find out my ver number?

    3. Upgrade BOTH postnuke and PPC, because the "Upgrade of PPC" will ONLY work with the NEWER upgrade of Postnuke?

    - Thanks

    1. Upgrading PPC is easy, you just download the latest and overwrite the files on your server with the new version

    2. You should upgrade postnuke for security reasons if nothing else. Version # can be found by logging into your admin (www.yourdomain.com/admin.php) the version # will be listed at the top of the page like this: PostNuke administration panel (0.7.6.2)

    3. Yes, upgrade Postnuke (if you need to) and then PPC.
