There are several "directory" modules but no "yellow pages" type module, though there was one, briefly.

i was working with MACscr, but i got swamped with more important tasks.
the module definately has potential, i just need someone to tell me what to do basically. -

I'm sorry, I just realized that it has actually been released. I installed and looked at it and I suggest the following:
- An imagelink to posting business listing in user.php page (just like change avatar, journals, jokes, resume, and some other mods have)
- Email notification for the poster that their business has been approved or disaproved, requires modification, ....
- Ability to upload a picture (multiple ones OK) for the business listing is a must.
I suggest taking a look at the PN-Zclassifieds and phPro (profession) modules, they have both of these features implemented.
- Blocks for pnListings: Latest listings, most popular listings, random listings, featured listings.
I will think of more ideas as I explore pnListings.
Checking out :

for ideas might be good too. keep up the good work.

Cannibus,
I would definately like to keep working with you on this module. We need to talk more often than just once every few months. This module would be very useful to me and ColdRolledSteel, so I am sure you have the help available. -

phpmydirectory is an excellent script. I really need a directory module. I've got a few lists with thousands of contacts I can re-use on some new websites, but no good way to do this. I've installed the files I could find for pnlistings, but it is obviously a pre-alpha version that isn't close to ready for prime time. What's the scoop with this one? Any new releases even close? Need any help with testing, etc?
