Hi,
I'm new to the forum and fairly new to PostNuke. I just made extensive modfications to the PostNuke theme by copying it to a new directory and modifying the template files and style sheets. If I change to the new theme on my local linux box running PostNuke everything is fine. When I upload it to my public webserver I get the error: _XA_FAILEDTOINITENGINE.
I am now unable to change back to any of the default themse in my site. Anyone come across this error before?

Did you also edit xaninfo.php? Did any of the Xanthia themes work on your webserver?
And if you need to reset your theme you can download the PostNuke Swiss Army Knife (a.k.a. PSAK) from the downloads area on this site.

To reset your theme use PSAK (extract psak.php to your postnuke root directory and browse to it... remember to delete it after your done).
You should have your themes name after that error message, between that and the fact that your seeing an undefined define, I'd suggest you re-upload the Xanthia module since it seems your missing files. Have you tried any other Xanthia themes on your public site?

It appears that the Xanthia module is not installed on my remote server. It is running:
Phoenix-= release (0.726)
Insalled by my ISP.
My local Linux box is running: the =-Phoenix-= release (0.760)
I guess an upgrade is in order.
Thanks to both of you for pointing me in the right direction and for the quick response.
