Not sure it depends on how motivated I am and if I run into any snags.
It's not really on the top of my priority list, my number 1 priority is getting vBulletin integrated with PostNuke, followed by comments revamp, postnuke interface cleanup and beautification then probably reviews. -

was workin at that module but now I saw Mr. Magic Man superstar from portalzine is releasing one for his subscribers.
Same with other modules I was workin on....that doesn`t make sense....guess I`ll go to another CMS where I have the time to code my things. It`s really sad which way PostNuke goes with that guy -

Don't stop working on them just because someone else is working on the same module. Besides, not may people will get to use his since he charges for his subscription, but I'm afraid that is the direction that PN development is headed, a free core with very few useful modules, and a paid subscription for modules that actualy do something useful. -

thats excactly my point. But why should I keep on coding when those things are already done...doesn`t make sense...PostNuke died now its MagicXNuke...now I understand why so many developers left the team...I`ll folow them -

joe711,
I know how you feel, but I've got too much time invested in the new site I'm working on (not to mention the costs of a brand new server and co-location fees) to give up on it just yet. I just wish someone would release some code. We already see that the PN - phpBB2 bridge is working on this site, and PN-Navigator seems to be working on the main page, but no code has been released, or even a time frame. -

Well why don't you keep working on the reviews module and make it free and public, then i'm sure you will get way more people using it than the portalzine guy who is charging for it. I would be one that's for sure. -

I think some things have to be cleared here.
Postnuke is not going to be a commercial product, but a GPL core doesnt prevent people to develop and sell commercial products for it.
Portalzine is related to postnuke concerning its vision and goals, but my developments are not relarted to the work i do for the development itself, except that my personal developments help integrating new stuff faster. I am part of the developement team, which takes quiet some time from my professional life. I have a family to take care off. Each coder has the right to decide what he does with his own developements. Why do people always think that I have to share each developemt and release it under the GPL.
Many of the old developers had there private projects running aside aswell and noone cared then. I am sorry if some of you dont agree with what I am doing, but that has nothing to do with developemnts made for the coming PN releases.
And noone ever stopped coding for a postnuke, because someone else had a similiar project running. Why ? The more choices , the better for the user.
MagicX
