What I basically need is a module that will alow me to setup an online catalog with catagories and sub-catagories... But with *no cart or prices*.
Each item needs a thumbnail, name, and brief description...
When Item is clicked, much more detailed info is shown along with the thumbnail again....
If thumbnail is clicked on detailed view, a larger image of the item is shown (preferably in a seperate window).
SO in effect I really would like to get a module for postnuke that works like oscommerce but minus all the prices and shopping cart... Since thiers cant be disabled...

I suppose you could try Pagesetter. It's extremly flexible but it also has a steep learning curve and you sound like someone who's looking for a module that will fit your needs out-of-the-box. :?
Maybe someone else knows of a module that fits the description?

I modifed the pnbooks module on my site.. http://www.freebetguide.com
Quite easy to do, just change the word "books" in the language file to suit your product, in my case "Sites"

OK .. I found that books module from that site under the books/music catagory...
2 things....
How can I make it not require the ISBN number ... Or maybe change it to be Part Number or somehting else.
And how can I make it so when you click on the thumbnail, instead of getting ratings details, It will open a larger image.
