    The theme is a tweeked AT-Xtreme (which I LOVE by the way).

    I'm not 100% sold on the color scheme...but would appreciate some feedback on the overall look.

    Looks pretty good although personally I would consider trying the colors in reverse (white bg black text) And if it's at all possible try making the bg of the Google Ads transparent.

    I would LOVE to get rid of that weird background, but I don't know where it is. It causes problems in other areas as well, but I don't know where in the files to tweek it.

    And yeah, it is dark, and I wanted to go with a lighter site, but everyone else working on it seems sold...I'm just trying to make it as easy to read as possible.

    so changing "bar.gif" to a black square perhaps would clear that up?

    Oh yeah, much better. Just changing it to black cleared it up a lot, especially near the bottom.
