  I like the 4 columns. I like the slide show top left.
  
  I LOVE the concept of the scrolling Last Forum Posts on the right on Home. Is that a known module or did you cook that up yourself?
  
  I like getting sent to the log-in/register page when I click My Account in the Main Menu. Looking at this, it occurs to me that instead of hiding links to content (as so many sites including mine do) that requires registration, it would make more sense to edit the log-in/register page to say something about how you will have access to this neat feature after you register and log in, and then direct unregistered viewers there instead of the "You are not authorized" message which is so unfriendly.

  I think this site is ripe for a "super-horizontal" ad right across the top and maybe a tile ad(s) at the start of the third column..
  
  I'd personally reverse the order or the header elements - logo - links - photo... And you could use a flashier logo(!) Nuke the underlines of the left block titles, too
  
  P.S. Check your cursor styles - it doesn't go to the familiar pointer when hovering over links, and I could do without the crosshair...

  -Scrolling Posts come standard with pnphpbb multipurpose block.
  -Registration- It helps get more people to register, you are right about that.

  -Well I did add a banner, but just the center block for now, seems to work well with the theme.
  -Also added ads on the third block, they work well their but i wan tto work on itegrating them more in the site then seperate objects.
  - Any free help on a logo? :D I suck at graphics. The name works but a logo would be great to put on my cafepress stuff.
  -cursor style, yeah I haven't figure out where to change that yet in my theme. It is a bit annoying but different.
  
  Now to somehow get the last X publication in Pagesetter working...arghhh....
