I can add categories, but when I try to add URL I get the following:
Code
Precondition Failed
The precondition on the request for the URL /admin.php evaluated to false.

Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.freebetguide.com Port 80
Any ideas? -

Just an idea and I may well be way off base. But I seem to remember two other threads here about precondition failures (one had to do with Condoleeza Rice posts) that turned out to be the HOST having some screening in place to prevent certain words they associated with inappropriate use.
You might try a motherhood and apple pie category and a bland and innocuous sounding URL as a test?

Yes, it was problems with mod_security on the affected servers.

Weird.
Just went back to try submitting a different site.. the icon has gone from "content".
removed the module and re-installed, but it says "version = 0" and there is no admin link.
Copied new files to /modules/web_links and its still not working :(
I am finding this potnuke thing very hard.. I cant even get the icons to work on my homepage or get books module to be found by search engines.. starting to wish I never tried :(:(
