Guys and Gals,

Got a problem !!

I installed the OpenRealty module on my site and it looks great and works great.....well..... i thought it was going to work great !!

Take a look at my site: http://www.4thukbrigade.com/4thnew/

I am getting this error and dont know what to do to get back to my admin so i can deactivate the module (i have deleted it now from my webhost) but still showing error.

What can i do to get into my admin to deactivate it ?

Please help as soon as you can,..... this is a live site !!! (silly me)

I think the problem may be that you deleted the module without first inactivating it and the scripts to serve up your page choke when they come to a dead end.

You might be able to point your browser directly at your admin.php file as a start.

If that doesn't work, you may have to replace the deleted files - ftp them back into the modules directory.

If those suggestions don't work, other (wiser) heads will have to help.

I have done ALL of that............. still broken and it wasnt the case that i deleted it before deactivating it..... the error occured when i clicked on the config option when i was already in the config !!

Thanks to anyone else that could help me. Hammerhead !!?..... your a knowledgeable chap !!

Well......... I REALLY need some help now !!!

I installed a back up copy of my site which i made 8 days ago........... Overwrote ALL files.

I still have the error ?

PLEASE..... I am very desperate to get my live site up and working again......please would someone help me ?

I wont be able to recreate the website again.......far too many hours spent over the last 6 months creating it.....i have a very active community, which i dont want to lose.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Have anything to do with permissions? I've ran into a few of these probs lately ;).

EDIT: Sorry, I got to the login from another page and figured it would let you just direct connect to a URL on your website.

I CANNOT get into ADMIN...... If i could....then i would deactivate, delete and sort it out.......but i cant.

In no way take this as THE answer, but in the past when I've screwed something up big time (like deleting a module and leaving the block, I had to go into the Database and delete a record in the blocks database. look for any instance in the _blocks database, delete it and this "should" sort you out.

I'm no coder, or expert, but I have screwed up my site a number of times in this manner - so experience may count<g>

Done that............this module that i installed does not contain any blocks at all.

I have deleted the module from the database......... I have deleted the module from my hosting service via FTP. Didnt work.

I then reinstalled a backup from 8 days ago ( i installed the openrealty module today) and the reinstallation of the backup......as you can see...........still does not work.

So...........where do i go from here ?????????

Can you tell if you are you logged in?
Try:
WEBSITE/index.php?module=Administration&type=admin&func=adminpanel&cid=1
or
WEBSITE/index.php?module=Modules&type=admin

do you use dreamweaver? have you tried finding where it's calling OpenRealty_user_() and just deleting it?

if not, sorry i couldn't help.

Good question, if I really need to find something like that, I'll look everywhere. I don't know much about it, but someone probably will.

What do you use for design, transfer & whatnot? I usually use filezilla for transfer and DW for pretty much everything else.
