The problem with the setup is mine...
it seems that me using an auto theme from .7.5 on .7.6 is the culprit here
its not those buttons that are wrong... at has justified the complete box and some buttons left...
so no fualt of yours or your great module.......
my bad sorry.....

bob-0, how did you resolve the rendering issue with IE?
I just added the Sudoku module to www.boomernet.com -- works great! -- and looks fine in both Firefox and Safari.
In IE, however, the puzzle and first 3 rows of buttons are left justified, while everything else is centered.
Is there a simple hack in AT to fix this? -

I would take a look at the templates for your AT as well as the Soduko.. look for any divs that have the same ids or classes... or look for inherited styles..

Thanks for the clue, David. In tracking it further, this turned out to be the standard issue of IE not paying attention to the "margin auto" CSS element. Surrounding the puzzle's div with another div made IE play nice.
I used both align="center" and a style tag of align: center
Note: This input box won't let me display irregular code like the style tag, above, but it does still work on my website.
