I have noticed lately that entities are messed up by PostNuke sometimes. If I write some HTML that is to be placed in the database like this.

    Code

    Here is a β

This will go through fine, but the entitie does not get displayed correctly. However, if I go to and edit the text, then the entitiy is now changed to the actual character. You can see this behavior if you create an article in the Sections area. Is there anyway to stop this behavior so that it will leave the β instead of changing it to the actual character?

Goto settings and change the "Translate embedded HTML entities into real characters" to "No" This will change the behaviour siite-wide though...

Thanks for the reply. If you turn that off, then the stuff comes through as β and there is no greek symbol. Since mine is a scientific site, I can't have them. I have heard others complain about pnvarhtml... before.
