  Cant seem to find it in a "Search"..... I have seen on other sites and modules that have a "Print" button to display a print friendly page rather than printing out the menu and sides.
  
  Is there something like this that will cover the entire PN site (or core blocks and modules)?

  this is standard in Postnuke, however I never used it myself. Check the Documents.

  The last couple of releases have included a Print theme which does what you are looking for. You might try searching for "print theme".

  Just append &theme=Printer to the URL you want a printer friendly page of.
  
  Make sure the theme is enabled in Xanthia admin first though.
