Hi!
I'm running postnuke 0.750 in an Apache 1.3.31 webserver on winXP SP2. I have PHP 5.0.5.
I also run the PostWrap 2.5 module. This works perfectly fine. I can add an external link within the PostWrap module and it works great with Firefox. However When I try to open the same link in an Internet Explorer browser window I just get a blank space where the external page should have opened. There is only a link at the top telling me to open the requested link in a new window.
What's wrong?
Regards Mats

I've aready tested that by turning down the security level to "Low" and didn't help.
See for yourself.

Try both IE6 and Firefox and you'll see the difference. -

Hi:
It works with IE6, check PostWrap settings. I dont remember having to change anything in IE 6 to make it work. It makes no sense. Imagine all users having to change IE to be able to access it...
Good luck. -

Hi!
Before I posted the first message I did test all possible combinatoins of the postwrap settings with no luck at all. I´ve now tried it again with the same result. So it must be something else? But what?!

I've had much the same problems with IE6, and it may depend on the
theme that you're using.
The 'fix' that works for IE6 is to set up a fixed page size and disable the auto
page size feature, which means also enabling URL Security in order for the
links to access these fixed page parameters.
It's more of a pain this way, but it does prevent cross-site fake pages.
(You wouldn't want your portal displaying someone else's wares.) -

Hi, I have now found out that it is my theme that causes the trouble I have.
I have also tried what you suggested, disable the auto page size feature.
But it does not work.
Any other suggestions? I´m not a guru on this, just a regular user. Can I somehow edit the code in my theme to make it work? In that case where?
I use the theme "Corporate", which I have edited a bit in terms of links and top.

I had the exact same problem. I just could not get IE to display my PostWrap pages yet Firefox was fine. I am using the newest version of AutoTheme and it was a brand new theme I was designing, starting from scratch with a barebones "example" theme and I hadn't even begun the graphic implementations yet. I finally shelved PostWrap in favor of htmlpages to accomplish what I wanted. If an end user has to go in and tinker with settings in IE for just page browsing, well, I can't have that.
It's kinda strange, because if it is the theme, well AutoTheme and PostWrap are both developed by Shawn, so you'd think they would work hand in glove together. Oh, well.

Hmm, I use StaticDocs to display my own HTML-pages within the PostNuke framwork and that works just great! BUT!
I would like to display external web links within the PostNuke framework and for that I thought I´d use PostWrap but as I mentioned, it doesn´t work with IE. I´m not sure if htmlpages are the right module for this purpose? Am I right?
I think you should try StaticDocs it seems more powerful to me than HTML-pages.

Ok, strange?
Could you try to open this link with both Firefox and IE? The site should be integrated in my site if everything is ok.

Works fine for me in Firefox....nothing in IE. This really appears to be a bad bug for Postwrap. Cross browser compatibility is a must for any site.

Hi, I have found out that it is my theme which causes the problems?! I tried with one of PostNuke´s default themes. And once I enabled "ExtraLite", I think it was, the problems were gone. But who wants to use that theme?
Any Ideas how to fix that?
