Hello.
For some reason, all of a sudden I'm getting this error when I try to view any of the downloads:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/httpd/vhosts/coya.coptic.ca/httpdocs/modules/UpDownload/dl-categories.php on line 174
I am using postnuke V 0.75 and have been using Updownload for months continuously with no problem. All of a sudden it does not work!

Hi
I have a similar report on DownloadsPlus for the same file. Both UD and DL+ are based on the original DL module from pn.72x. I would guess that it is a database issue with the categories table. Possibly a null value being returned, as there is no error checking on the outbound transaction. Can you confirm what function line 174 is part of and what line 174 actually contains.

Actually, your message helped me solve the problem!
You said that the updownload module is based on the original download module. that module had been recently deactivated because it was assumed to be redundant. Reactivating it eliminated the problem.
Thank you.
