i am designing a module right, and i have a question
the module has categories, and listings in each category.
should an admin decide to delete a category, should all sub cats, as well as listings be deleted as well?
just wondering how other developers handled this.
right now, as i type i'm thinking, i might just display a message" Are You Sure You Want to Delete X sub-cat and X listings.

I delete all sub cats or settings and records related to this and I give a confirmation telling the user what will happen. Another option would be to have a default undeleteable category and automatically assign disenfranchised records to the default category.
