Guys,

I have some PHP code that i would like to use to display some information via mysql query from my database.

Am i right in saying that all i need to do is this:

1. Create new block (i am choosing a PHP block from the list)
2. paste the PHP code into the white blank area
3. It then displays the NAME i gave the PHP block and when i click the link.....it shows a parse error...

Anyone know if what i have done is correct and if it is, then WHY do i get a parse error ???

PLEASE help..... I have been trying this on and off for weeks now !!!!!!

If you're including the opening and closing PHP tags with your PHP code, that will cause an error. Other than that, maybe post your PHP for inspection?

MAN... why has no-one else ever told me this ????.... I have only been waiting 5months to get this sorted !!!!

LOL......... I got it working and am chuffed to bits. Thank you VERY MUCH for such a simple piece of advice. I certainly wont forget it. :)
