    Hello

    Getting: Called unknown function: Admin_admin_categorymenu() cid => 1 .
I'm just installed PostNuke 0.7.6 . I copied new module (vpContacts) and pressed Regenerate in modules to get it into list. I repeated procedure with other modules copied, it seems there is no matter of that module. It seems regenerate function is failing. Can any PostNuke expert help me to find out problem. icon_lol

    Respects

Did you remove the Admin module? Was this a fresh install or an upgrade?

Hello, i just had to push that Regenerate button in my 0.760 and all went exactly as above mentioned.

I completly over writed the Admin module and the problem is still here. What could it be? I didnt install any new module or de/activate any.

Even tried to "index.php?module=Modules&type=admin" it, same error. It was a fresh install. Any ideas?

    Thanks

Through FTP, from the original PostNuke distribution, reupload it.

And you removed all the .750 files before attempting to upgrade?

Found the problem on my site! Don't install an OLD language pack!

I had installed an old .750 language package. After hitting regenerate in modules administration the problem was there.

The modules: Admin, groups, user, AddStory, ... had now the wrong directory in the modules table, e.g. Admin was NS-Admin!

    Steps to repair:
    - Backup MySQL Database!
    - All modules files deleted and reuploaded from the .760 distribution
    - Changed all NS-... values in the PN-directory field of the pn_modules table via phpMyAdmin.
    - Logged in as admin but access to the administration was not possible, direct access to the modules administration:
    .../index.php?module=Modules&func=view&type=admin
    - Clicked Regerate in Modules Admin, then i had to upgrade and activate the broken modules.

That was the basis of my question - having NS- folders left in your install is the main cause of this error.

Yes your question helped me to find it out, thanks!
But why this "user unfriendly" behavior? Found no bug request on NOC's tracker.

This doesn't happen if you follow upgrade instructions correctly (or don't install old language packs ;))

It was necessary for this upgrade to remove those old and outdated directories.
