After upgrading to .760 and setting register_globals to off in .htaccess, the xBackends.php script began to stop recognizing the forum feeds and began only sending out the feeds of the core News stories, with just the header and "more info" link. Taking that out of .htaccess makes the feed work again. I serve my news feed out through the core backends.php, so it is not an issue here, but the PNphpBB2 feed is a problem with this setting in place.
This was (and still is) a major issue for me as I have that RSS feed in place in my OS X Dashboard Widget that has had over 3000 downloads since I released it through Apple.com. Franz is asking around for a fix, and I'm wondering if I am at any serious risk leaving the register_globals on right now, plus wondering if any of you folks have a solution. Thanks.

Franz figured it out! He has posted an xBackends v2.8 on his site. Woot!
