I am developing a module to generate the basic code files for new PostNuke modules. While this would normally be an admin function, I have rigged a user interface (updates disabled) that can be seen at:
[demo has been removed]
Links on the 'Edit' row display the edit screens. The code file (user/admin) edits have not been implemented yet.
Links on the 'Show' row displays the generated PHP code for the various module files.
If you have trouble navigating, make sure 'SampleModule' is selected in the drop-down at the top.
I am interested in comments and suggestions.
Thanks,

That looks really cool. Now all you need is some straight forward documentation to go with it on how to properly populate the various fields and I think that you have a real winner.
The next step is to add some templating to it so that we can build how it should look and the layout. -

I have a couple of small issues* to resolve and then I will make ModGen available for testing. There is another ModGen sample module called 'Recipe' in the demo. It's a little more of a reality based example.
I'm looking into including phpdocumentor tags in the generated source output. Unfortunately problems with the documentator are preventing me from seeing my results.
* And 1 big issue, I've yet to write a single character of documentation. -

The initial release of ModGen is available at:

I will be removing the demo from my web site in a week or two. -

It hasn't shown up in module news yet but I released a new version of ModGen (link below).
New features include
Block declaration/generation.
Basic create/retrieve/update/delete/list code generation for tables.
Help pop-up's.
The demo has been removed from my site. -

If my system will let me, I'll try to approve it shortly. It's been a pain dealing wtih news because I'm having some issues with FireFox and the PN.Com site.
