  Does any one have a temporarily solution to make bbcode works with pnForum till next version of forum comes out?. I can't make it works both modules on 760, even using old versions of bbcode, old versions do not display the codes in explorer because error in page, and new version, can retrieve the field textfieldname correctly, in both cases the popup windows is not showed. Some help????

  I released a mini update for pnForum that enables the new pn_bsmile and pn_bbcode hooks in pnForum. Instructions are included.
  
  BTW, for the Messages module you will find an aditional template named message_user_new2.htm in the pntemplates folder. Rename it to messages_user_new.htm and you can use the two hooks in this module too.

  ..not passing a value in the newtopic template .. changed the message id to "_message" and it worked fine.. strange.. works everywhere else.

  grrrrrrr, the miniupdate does not work, the modification by InvalidResponse does not work either and i really need the bbcode working, so here is my entirely problem and well tested, you will find curious bugs in here.

  First point: When you initialise the bb_smile module, postnuke reports: faild to load module at function initialise, after a page refresh you can see that module is initialised, and can be activated ok.
  Now we have installed the patch supplied here, works but not as expected, see what happend:
  .- bbsmile works correctly, no problem here:
  .- bbcode works but wrong, there is a bug or bugs here.
  Description:
  First problem:
  If you type first something in your reply, an email for example and mark the text like if you were to use copy an paste for instance, and press the corresponding button: bbcode works as expected including the text inside the tags, the module works correct here, example:
  (email)mail@mail.com(/email) using real signs of couser --> [ ]
  but (the bugs comes here) if you do not type anything and press the same button, the caption of the button change!!!!!!!!!!!
  Example to explain better:
  I go to fast reply box and before type anything i press button email, label or caption of the button change from Email to !!!, i mean the button is placing the corresponding values in its caption instead in the reply box.
  Second problem:
  The bug comes here: If i put the cursor inside the reply box and refresh the page, sometimes, almost usual, the button works correctly when the page is refreshing and till the page is complety refreshed, after that, the first problem related before starts again!!!!!!!!. Also the first problem is present when i refresh the page and the cursor was no previous putted in reply box.
  I can do anything more than write all this :(

  Did you clear all compiled templates in pnRender and your browser cache as well? I know this caption changing from the time when I worked on the javascript. BTW, you are using the standard templates in pnForum? Are some of the templates stored in the theme?
  
  If this does not help, a link to the problem would be fine (including a login with admin permissions). Send this to frank.schummertz AT landseer-stuttgart DOT de if possible.

  Compiled templates are not cleaned, i forgot this point, cache in explorer are already cleaned, standar and not modifying templates are in use in pnforum, no changes there, i don't catch what you mean with templates stored in theme, if you mean templates from pnforum then not, i have installed the module as it comes. I'm going to test the compiled templates, if problem persits i create the account, no problems with that, i' be back here in perhaps 15 minutes?

  Explorer cookies and files deleted, compiled templates deleted for all themes, themes all deleted, and added again, email sended, what more do you need?

  I forgot, the problem is not inside themes, with extralite theme the persists...

  just checking..., no news yet because people have their own life and they not live on internet :)
  Just to add some information i thougth that the problem was only mine related to my server or perhaps related to an specific configuration, i was wrong, i have encountered the same problem reported by a user on dev-postnuke board, (spanish board).....
