The free themes available are without exeptions terrible.

While I took this as an insult at first, after thinking about it I agree that my own themes aren't all that great. But I am working to change that... I'm already working on a tableless XHTML 1.0 Strict compliant version of my xLDT theme. Once that's complete, on to the next! I would like to think that they could be considered great themes by the time I am done. And free! :)

I wouldn't say all free themes are 'terrible'....

    kubrick
    MinimaPlus
    travelogue
    Gemini - a theme with 9 variations.

I can't claim responsibility of designing any of them but i'd definately say that none of them are 'terrible'....

Travelogue and Gemini are great themes... and no we are not biased! Advanced is a great looking theme in its own right because it doesn't have that standard PostNuke look to it. Just curse that lousy thing called IE!

BTW Mark we implemented that Yahoo search plugin - thanks! Dirty rumour has it you may be working on other blog related stuff... true?

Not sure who might be spreading such rumours but.... yes...

You can already see trackback running on my site (requiring the latest EZComments). There's also flickrgallery. This module displays your photos from flickr.com. I'm working on (but it's slow progress so far) pingback.

I guess that suggesting walmart isn't what your looking for..... ;).

Seriously though it's in the pnwebservices project cvs - i'll see if I can find a few minutes to tidy it up.

ah, my bad. I didnt know you had that part in the cvs yet, i knew it was in the works, but just saw things for the blogs, so i just assumed. Anyway, is there a way to view the whole NOC directory setup instead of just entering through each project? I cant always get the cvs access to work with tortuise with every pnNoc project as well. Always had success with the core and EZComments though.

That is where I saw the Xanthia look-a-like. Like the chicken and the egg I believe the Mambo version came first?

    Mark,
It's not a "real" priority, just something I was asked to look into and integrate if possible: OpenID. I guess it's some kind of opensource authentication used in wordpress, livejournal etc.. I haven't looked into it yet. If you're not already working on some similar integration then I'll see what I can come up with. it looks pretty straight forward. well.. there are facets that could prove difficult ;)

    best regards..
    -Devin

[edit: I don't know if this is someething that would work with our authentication.. passwords, API functions and all.]
