Hello,
Im working with latest version of updownload at the moment but I think the problem applies to the core downloads module as well.
How can I increase or generally change the time limit in which a download remains new and has the icons associated with it??
thx

Hi
You'd have to hack the code. Its the same with DownloadsPlus. I had a look at providing time settings as an admin function but pushed it into future planning.

I know I have to hack da code. But its too complicated as Im not aware of postnuke internal workings.
I thik it calls a function called pngetModVar inside the root includes folder. But I really dont know how to edit the time settings. I picked up something about reading from the pntables???? -

You can find tree functions in dl-util.php where you can change the time.
function newdownloadgraphic
function categorynewdownloadgraphic
function subcategorienewdownloadgraphic
Hope this will help you ...
