Hey I just created http://www.allrowlett.com
and the majority of the module will be the weblinks. Cmodsweblinks graphics are great.
I just can't seem to make them open when I click on a link.
Can someone test my links section:
I am using:
PN760 RC4
CmodsWeblinks 1.8.1
Firefox 1.0.6
http://www.allrowlet…?name=CmodsWebLinks
If someone would just click on a link and see if they are getting a white page as well.
There is a setting in the module to allow links to open in a new pages or _blank or _top etc...I tried a few of them but I get the same thing a I white page.
Any suggestions? The Theme is Peterpan in Xanthia but it doesn't work in Xtralight either.
Thanks

I've tried two of your links both with IE and Firefox and it doesn't work in either of them, I get a Blank Page.
However I'm using the same module on PN0.750 and it works without any problem. -

We don't have that problem, but we have another different one... we have set it for "unregistered users" to submit links, but the submit link and form do not appear until one logs in. I have looked over our permissions schema and nothing in there should be stopping this. Is this another bug?
Registered users can add new links though.
Oops should have added we are using .750 and CmodsWebLinks V1.8.5.
While I am here, on the migration of the database we encountered one small error. The total number of links on one subcatagory does not show, though all the actual links are there. I scoured the database to manually enter it, but for the life of me, I cannot find it!

Look at "Canadian Political Parties - Provincial Political Parties" Provincial shows 0 links when that is not the case.

Thanks for pointing that out. The permissions set will be modified in the next version then you can allow unreg. users to add links.

Today we have released th RC of CmodsWebLinks 1.8.5. I know there are some 1.8.5 out there but this is an error in the init file of the module.
So also if you think you have allready a version 1.8.5 upgrade to RC !!
You will find the download for the RC here cmods-dev.

Going to give that a try right now.
Edit - and it worked. Thanks so much. Now the only outstanding issue we have with this great module is the one sub-category that refuses to display the total number of links contained within. Like I stated on an earlier post - I attempted to change it via the database but was unable to find the corresponding entry for it. It states zero links in the sub-category since we migrated the database from the standard weblinks module.
