Hi everyone,
I use postnuke 0.750, and tonight, I was in the process of adding AutoTheme. So I uploaded the AutoTheme unzipped directory to the modules folder in my server, after which I activated the module. After activating the module, I was unable to see an icon for AutoTheme in admin panel. This is my first problem.
After this, i got tired of trying to configure AutoTheme, and instead downloaded a theme called vtality, and uploaded it to my themes folder(not the AutoTheme themes, the postnuke one). I then went to settings in admin panel, from the dropdown box for the themes, i selected the vtality theme. I wanted to see the theme change, so I logged out as the admin, and when i went back to www.domain.com/forum/index.php, it was blank! This is my second problem and the one that gave me the heart attack. :)
In an attemp to solve this, I checked this forum, and came across a topic addressing blank pages, http://forums.postnuke.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=30732&highlight=blank
, i could not find the php.ini file as per the guidelines. I tried the alternative, which was creating a file called htm.htaccess in my root, which was www.mydomain.com/forum. In that file , i added php_flag display_errors on as per the guidelines in that topic. After refreshing, I was unable to see any errors being displayed. This is my third problem and the one that leads me to a dead end, or the one that tells me, that I should seek help, :).
By the way, my domain is www.digitalguys.net , you can skip the flash intro or go to directly to www.digitalguys.net/forum/. Thank you for any comments and help in advance. I guess the last resort is using the swiss knife tool , but I would like to know if I can resolve it any other way before turning to that. Thanks again guys.
:D :D

Guys,
I have the major problem solved, the one that gave me the heart attack! I found out that when i uploaded the directory vtality after being extracted , which contains another subfolder called vtality! What a mess ! It was not until i logged into my server via ftp that I realised I had themes/vtality/vtality/ instead of themes/vtality/. Anyways, that part works now, thank God.
However I am still puzzled as to how this AutoTheme works. I don't see an AutoTheme icon in the amin panel. Please do help me with this part, thanks.

If it is not showing up in the admin panel (or the third-party subsection of the admin panel in 760), then it is not installed properly. Do you have a directory structure like this:
modules/autotheme/autotheme.cfg? -

Yes I have that, the full path to that is --> /root/modules/at-lite8_pn/modules/AutoTheme/autotheme.cfg
When I was installing AutoTheme i installed it to /root/modules/ as you can see from above. Huh, was this not the usual way to install a module in postnuke?
