A friend and I where thinking of creating a module for clans. However, the more we talked about it. The more features and control we would want for it. Also, the more simplistic it is.

We thought of modding pnClanSite. Have it appear to look like vwar but much more powerful. How you ask? Well we will try to incorporate a link to other 3rd party modules. Also use other modules as ideas. IE. We want to be able to change the profile at will. Instead of going through HTML and changing templates. We thought of adding something like Form Express has. So anyone can make the members area however they want it.

we are also thinking of making it modular in style. Thank you PostNuke for showing us the light. So instead of having one big program with stuff you don't use. You have the core and you can install add ons that you want.

With this I feel that it would make PostNuke stand out. We was talking of a price for this. We where thinking like 15-20 bucks. (for everything)

any idea of how usefull this would be? Also, could it be done?

I'm sure someone could benefit from it. If it's worth it to you, then go for it! ...but if you're doing it in hopes that others will buy it only, then you may spend more time dev'ing it than you can possibly get in a return. It's hard to say really...

No, OrionFaction was/is going to create a Clan Module. However, The person that is going to help (mainly do) and I think it wouldn't be fair to hold it to ourselves.
