Just a quick update on the status of the .760 release. Having come across a few last minute bugs not found in the earlier RC stages, the final release of .760 has been delayed for at least a few more daysuntil the last problems have been fixed. At this stage we do not anticipate needing any more release candidates of PostNuke .760 as the changes should only be minor.

define a few more days cuz it's been nearly 3 weeks :)

And people wonder why nobody wants to stick their neck out and answer the "Are we almost there?" question.

Another way to look at it is, if it weren't so darned popular, people wouldn't be so anxious!

    :)

I chock it up to a feeling of stability...

I know I'd rather install today and upgrade in a year or two...rather than install today and upgrade in a month or two when a stable release comes about.

Exactly, and it wouldn't be very popular if it weren't stable! All part of the overall impression.

It seems that new code is being introduced into .76 this late in the cycle after all...it's not just the stability issue I guess...

patches aren't necessarily new code, patches - patch (or fix) existing code, so NEW features aren't being added. OLD features are being fixed.
