  Hello,
  
  I have a problem displaying Japanese characters on my website. Untill now I checked the following but failed:
  
  1) My browser can display Japanese content of other websites
  2) I added in the HTML file..
  3) shift_ijs also exists in the httpd.conf file in the conf directory of the server side.
  
  Would you suggest some other solutions or things to check?

  I solved the problem. It was from neither client nor server, but from the editor I was using. I could copy and paste Japanese characters to wordpad but when I saved and reopened the file it did not display those characters. It needed definitions for each character. Then i decided to use frontpage, although I avoid using it, and it worked. Frontpage by default defines the Japanese characters and has no display problem.

  My browser is able to display Japanese characters but not the ones in the infomation boxes or popup boxes which appear with onMouse or onclick comments. Do you have an idea how to display Japanese characters also in the boxes?
