That'd be no problem AmmoDump if I understood how to install and work the module :P It'd be a little hard (and pointless) to write something up when I don't even understand how to work the software myself. To be honest, most of the time I either have to spend 2 hours searching the pnforums or the web to find fixes for problems or I stumble across them accidentally. By that time I'm not of the mind or in the mood to write anything.
You have to also remember that while I've been screwing around with PHP and web stuff for 3 months some people have been doing it even less - so instructions manuals that say:
unzip
install
voila you're done
Are kinda pointless to a novice.

I understand what you are saying... but not knowing how something works, gives you insight into what should be including into novice directions. Your could print out the directions, and anotate them as you discover the software...
But that is the problem with instructions.... One can make the instructions too short or too detailed. And even when the directions are clear, people still don't read them.
There is also an assumtion that the webmaster has some experience with scripts and the like. Also, the script writers often write the scripts for themselves. By default an auther of a script doesn't need to write his/her self directions. They are not making anything for writing it, and they do not even have to release them to the community. Another problem is maybe the script writer, though fluent in PHP may not be in English.
Just my thoughts on it,
Ammodump
