Integrate Htmlarea or Tinymce instead of typetool  Bottom

  • I have searched the forum for a solution to this, but have found no step-by-step guide on how to do this.

There is a lot of talk about CVS - what is that?

Can anybody provide a step-by-step to integrate either Htmlarea or Tinymce into Postnuke 0.750 instead of typetool (that sucks!)?
Please provide links to the mentioned files also - thx in advance.

cvs = concurrent versioning system try google if you want more on that

download tinymce from the postnuke cvs, you can find the how to here.

put the tinymce folder into your modules folder regenerate / initialise / activate the module and then configure it via the admin panel - finished

  • Well i tried to log in on this tortoise thing but got this error:

cvs.exe checkout: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

cvs server: cannot find module `PostNuke' - ignored
cvs.exe [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules

    Error, CVS operation failed

So, what do i need to do to get TinyMCE?
  • Please cant anybody help with a step-by-step guide

  • info to put in tortoise by doing right click cvs checkout

    server : cvs.postnuke.com
    protocol : pserver
    port : 2401

    username : anon
pass : anon (Will be asked later)

    repository : /repository

    module : PostNuke/Modules/Utility/htmlarea/

Should have a go with that...
  • Well, sorry for my stupidity - what do i do when Tortoise is finished with the Checkout - nothing appears in the folder that i right-clicked on (and chosed Checkout)

Update: well i solved it but could not locate htmlarea? only tinymce - thx for the help!
