Hmmm.... Xanthia, I think would tend people to pronouce it with a "Z" sound... like most words that begin with a "z"

Xanthia is also a village in Thrace, northern Greece, located on the same spot as the antique city of Xanthi.
in greek, Xanthia is written using a dzeta, so correct pronounciation is indeed Z or dz.
