Recently, there's been a few users with mega-sized sig images...though that isn't particularly big issue around here.
Now, I've been IM'd...someone's wanting to rent my sig-space.
I don't want to rent my sig-space...but it makes me wonder, "Where is the TOS?" Are these issues covered by it?
Can they be?
Who else has been solicited for this? ...and what are your thoughts?

We've discussed some rules, but they are yet to be publicised.
The rule at the moment is to use your head. The forum's purpose is support, and therefore anything that does not contribute to this is discouraged, and anything other than text links for advertising purposes forbidden.

I have to say that by and large, we've had no problems whatsoever - which is the main reason we still haven't got any published rules.

I think you should be entitled to personal, non-intrusive advertising in your sig as a kind of kick back from offering lots of support - but I am sure no one wants to see flashing tower ads all over the damn place...

I heard of individuals in the past soliciting people to post forum messages on their behalf for a payment (not this forum). i.e. cash for comment.
