  Hey!
  
  I want a user to be able to click a link and get info from that spesific item only. I've managed to make the link;
  
  module=XXX&func=display&storyid=1
  
  Hm.. did this make sense at all?
  
  Ie. It would be like the News module, you click the title and get more info about the item.. how do you do that? I checked lots of modules but still cant figure it out!!!

  Err, you create a module to do what you want. We can't create it for you, just help if you get stuck along the way...

  eh... of course in module... this is the module develpopement forum..
  
  I just don't know how to get the info I want over to the template with the setting I described...

  I'm using the examle module. I'm soon done with the module actually.. at least the most important stuff. I don't understand why I'm having trouble here..
  
  I manage to output the storyid in the display page, but not the other stuff..

  check your get API fuction, to see what all you are actually querying from the database
