pnevent  Bottom

  • Does anyone here know where one could get hold of the pnevent module?

All the links that I have googled lead me to sites that are no longer active.

    Thanks,
    herman
  • Well, I don't know what pnEvent does, but there is Event Registration over at http://www.silver-wolf.com/ that may fit the bill.
  • Yes thanks for that, it is not quite what I was looking for so if I give a bit more info.

pnevent is was a version of pnconcert (which I may attempt to alter if there is nothing off the peg).

What I am looking for is this-

a module to display a "whats on list" by date to use as a gig guide for a town, covering various venues and bands (a feature not yet existant in pnconcert)

to produce an output along the lines of
date - artist or show name - venue name and address, telephone - cost of admission

    (allowing users to submit events)

some of the calendar modules do this sort of thing and I wonder to what extent they could be modified to achieve this.

What I need is something that displays the gig list on a page of its own and not as a block.

From googling I notice that this question crops up from time to time and various solutions offered. From what I read it seems than pnevent was one such solution.

I will look a little closer at the events registration code but at first glance over it appears to be not quite the kind of thing I had in mind.

    Regards,
    herman
  • Well, I know that Erik over at Silver Wolf just had a new baby boy, so he will be rather occupied for a bit. However, they have a suggestion area over there and some rather active supporters available through the forum. Wouldn't hurt to ask them also.

I know I've also heard people asking for that sort of module, although it's not something I presently need.
  • I think I saw pnEvent was available on PostNukePortal.com, but I've not gotten my PW yet :( Over 24 hrs, or close to it...
