High...I'm currently running a world of warcraft guild website in PostNuke, and one of the things my guild wants is a dynamic roster of characters. There are some various implementations of rosters out there that are very specific to different games and very feature rich...Which is not what I'm looking for...
I basically want something that consists of a single table that is a child of the PN members list. In that table will be one record for each character the member plays in the game. In effect, that means that the built in postnuke Members List could either be modded to include the records from that table, or a separate roster module could be made that displays all the characters possibly sorted by member name.
Bottom line is I want to be able to Associate characters with site logins...AND give the users themselves the ability to modify their own characters in that table.
Is this something thats easy to do or is it a bit more in depth than I am thinking? I ask because I'm not capable of doing it that I know of...I can install and configure and do some basic customization/modding of Postnuke, but I am not really familiar with PHP, much less PHP database interaction. Could someone who's posisbly interested in something like this respond and give me some direction whether it be to a person or group or something thats already done like that that I couldn't find?
Thanks all!
