I am working on porting my school site (www.hurlstone.com.au) into PostNuke (www.hurlstone.com.au/postnuke) and would like to know if there is any way that I can make the Emerphids module only display on weekdays. I currently display cycle days and this has no use on weekends. What would be even better is if I could specify when I could show it (ie. so I could turn it off during holidays). If that can't be done, I can turn it off in holidays manually, however the weekend thing is really needed.

I don't think there is an existing solution for this. You'd have to get dirty with some coding. I wouldn't recommend modifying Emerphids' code, though, as it will hamper your future ability to upgrade. Instead, make a hidden block that can hide/show a block based on a condition.
This should be easily doable, but let me know if you need furthure help.
