  • hi guys

    this is uday

i am currently using another content managment system, and i want to know few things about PostNuke before installing it

u know creating database and upload the files take long time

i am running a gaming community and will include few games like 3-4 games
what i am looking for is to make menu and pages for each game

i want to see a live emo where i can use it as example and see waht i will get in admin section - i saw the one on opensourcecms.com and dont know is it for crrent version

but for now my questions r

1-PostNuke ..the name remind with something but got PHP not POST! is it the same? or imporoved release? or totaly diffrent?
2-mysql? apache? linux? what r the system req?
3-i want to create section for game 1, game 2 game 3 and game 4,and in each section got also download and artickles ..so is PostNuke going to be friendly for me to arange my website like that?
    the menu with these links
game 1 -news ..only news will be displayed
game 1 -review ...review for the game
game 1 -screenshots for the game
game 1 -downloads ...section for the game download
and the menu should get a link to the main section (game 1)

guys i am a noob here ...please dont be angrey

4-wrap? i design pages and just wrap it ..inlude the page as iframe into a PostNuke page ..and link the menu to it ..so the sides modules such as voting and others will stay there but i got my page displayed in the middle (in the palce for news and artickles)

5- can i contorol which module can be displayed on the home page and which modules can be dispalyed on other pages or no displayed on other pages?

7-(i know u r saying it s too much ..i know :( ) but just this one ..easy to style? make or edit a template? HTML based or what?

    8- (another one) friendly urls? www.mysite.com/section/artickle/id ??

i hope u can explain to me these things

    thanks
