I cannot seem to recover from this. With older versions of PostNuke I simply copied a working theme to the new theme that does not seem to work with xanthia. is there a place I can change the theme post nuke uses.

I searched google and there are a lot of sites that have this error. Is it a known problem

Use the PostNuke Swiss Army Knife in the downloads section to reset the theme

I removed PostNuke completely - removed the data base completely reinstalled. as soon as I change from the default theme i get this error.

the only thing i did in setup was to add the themes that came with PostNuke and tried to change to one.

you need to add the themes using the Xanthia theme engine before you try to select them in admin -> settings

of course that is the way i installed themes

then only other thing I did was install the module postwrap I thought it might have been that so I got nukewrap
after I installd either module i get this error.

i am going to wipe out and install again

ok i reinstalled did nothing more go into modules and regenerated. when I do i get this error.

Had the same problem. It occurred after I installed a guestbook and the german language pack.

However, the Xanthia module afterwards had an upgrade option in the modules section of the admin menue. I upgraded, activated and now it works fine.
