Problems with upgrading...
 Top

  • Hi.
I'm trying to upgrade my PostNuke installation from 0.72x to 0.750 Gold. After reading the install manual and follow every step there I'm getting problems when running install script. When pressing the "upgrade" button I get this error messages :

"Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/lik/public_html/install/update_functions.php on line 33
    Unable to update _stories"

Anyone who can give me a hint ?
  • which version? If upgrading from .726 or (I think) .723, you shouldnt need to run the install script.

  • You don't need to run the install script, just replace files.

  • I've gotten the same error and just replacing the files didn't work for me. I got a database connection error that way. Any other ideas here? Got hacked last night and desperately trying to get the upgrade taken care of asap!
