I can't seem to locate, in all the documentation available (which is great!) a document or schema that tells where to find things like global functions, where to make your modifications...case in point...I want to add a graphic image to the login screen that says....Hang tight...logging you in! I can find the variable defined, but I can't locate the PHP that builds that HTML page.

I guess what I am looking for is a technical road map for use by a developer.

Any help in telling me how to modifying the login and logout splash screen is greatly appreciated in advance... :D

The code itself is reasonably easy to follow, but you'll need to know your way around the system to know where to start.

The code that builds the particular page you reference is in modules/User/tools.php I think.

Nope, as far as I know nothing like this currently exists. However, the structure of PostNuke gets much more ordered with the advent of .8, so things will be much easier to find.
