  • One of the priorities for the next year is to plan and hold a U.S. based PostNuke users conference. And I'm looking for suggestions/feedback about where you'd like to see this happen. Please take a moment to vote and offer suggestions. :)

International PostNuke users conferences will be planned in the future but for now a U.S. based conference is the focus. With that said though, EVERYONE from around the world is welcome, invited, and encouraged to attend. :)

    Possible Time Frames:
    1. Late September 2005 - Mid October 2005
    2. Late Feb 2006 - Early March 2006
    3. Late July 2006 - Early August 2006

  • not as bad as Texas! :)

I live in Michigan. Right now its 58, tomorrow for ten minutes it is supposed to be 70 and then it will rain and be 58 again. then it will probably snow and then go up to 90. The forecasters EARN their money here.

if you want predictable weather, go to San Diego. :)
  • craigh

    Right now its 58

Double that and you've got our weather here in Tucson.

I voted for San Diego, but regardless of the destination I will make every effort to be there. I would love to meet many of the folks from this forum. In fact, I did have to take a few minutes to decide between the CO and CA choices, they are both relatively close to me.
  • Why don't y'all fly down here to Brazil - cheap beer, nice weather and beautiful people :) I will be here for most of next year and the best time would be Late July 2006 - Early August 2006 as the weather will be very comfortable. There is lots to do here and the $R is very cheap to buy with $US dollars ;)

  • How about Washington DC? Not that it was suggested, but mid-spring in DC is really nice.

  • The Silicone Forrest (Oregon, Portland to be exact) Anytime between May - October is usually nice, but can still be hit or miss on rain.

  • I seriously suggested Chicago because it is *sort of* centrally located and a major Air-hub, so lots of flights in and out. (not to mention it is within driving distance for *me* :) )
  • Craigh you north or south of chicago?

I am north of chicago and the weather is nice.
    Also, we have 2 airports.

    :)
  • I live in Mid-Michigan actually. It would be a few hours on the road, but cheaper than flying :)
  • Atlanta,GA
  • I vote for Albany, NY. I don't know the place well, but I do know that it's more do-able than the others for me. I like the idea of being able to meet people in realtime...as it stands, when I picture anyone (except V!) here on the forums, all I can see is a non-descript male or female body with an avatar sitting on its shoulders.

    :)
  • What, you don't think I look like this?

OK, fine. I only look a little like this. I should do up a portrait of me with sunglasses and streaming code on them. That might be cooler than having Neo. Maybe.

// I look just a little like Keanu. Fortunately, what I lack in his looks I got back in being smarter than he is. ;)

/// Sometime I forget that my avatar isn't a picture of me.
  • ...and here I thought Keanu was a nuker like all the rest of us... CodeName: FrankDeRosa hmph...

    :)
