So without telling me, my host decded to sell all its hosting capability to a larger company.

The new company is great. much more solid than my old provider. however, in the process of moving the site contents, a good portion of my PostNuke test site was not transfered. I have tried uploading the indivivual files, but to no avail. I keep getting "Sorry! Failed to initialize Xanthia theme engine for theme: pnDefault" pnDefault is there, the theme folder is there.

The mySql database and its contents seems to be all fine. i was curious is it possible to do a reinstall of PostNuke, and have it read from the old database? i don't really want to go back in and add all the same users/employees/etc.

    Don't worry, you're good.
First check permissions. There are a number of folders that need permissions set to 777 - I think all the folders inside pnTemp.

If that doesn't work, re-upload everything except config.php and config-old.php. It won't hurt anything, unless you have modified the core files.

Don't touch your database. So long as they transferred everything, you don't need to do a thing.

I have CHMOD'd pnTemp and all folder within. still same message.

i have looked through all the documentation and it looks like pnTemp is all that needs to be 777.

    Standby while i re-upload

Alright. I re-uploaded all files to the server. got the same error

"Sorry! Failed to initialize Xanthia theme engine for theme: pnDefault"

So i deleted all files pertaining to PostNuke (except for config.php and config-old) uploaded the files from a fresh extract of PostNuke .750

    still same message.

    any ideas

    http://www.horizoncenter.org/postNuke

    now i get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class config_file in /var/www/html/postNuke/includes/classes/Smarty/Config_File.class.php on line 34

i have re uploaded the includes folder, to no avail. i haven't touched this file. why would it be re-declaring this class?
