I just got started with it today, having very limited knowledge over MySQL and PHP. The entire reason it got installed in the first place was the "Shoutcast Stat" block (made by Grant Goulet/MPIIIMan/3DTheory).
Needed something to display simple information about my Shoutcast server, and as much as I didn't want to be forced into postnuke to use it, I did anyway. It was a simple install, when it was time to put in the SQL DB info, I went to my host and into the admin panel where I found the info I needed. Installing the shoutcast stats block was easy as pie the same.
PostNuke was a very straight-forward and simple install, the rest looks just as simple yet powerful.

Wow, seperate the wheat from the chaffe and this thread got short qucik. Sorry for removing almost everything in the thread, but pretty much had to take out what I did or loose all context.
