Greetings,
At the risk of being challenged for pinching someone else's good idea, (I saw this earlier on the site today but couldn't remember where) would anybody else be interested in seeing the development of an online scheduling/reservation module - (other than myself and the member who originally posted the idea) ??
A system whereby clients logon to the online diary and book themselves an appointment in the time showing as available. The administrator could pre-determine busy periods and free periods to suit themselves and restrict the amount of time booked online by a single client.
The potential for this as far as I can see it is huge. Doctors, dentists, vetinarians, physios, chiros, accountants, lawyers, beauticians... you name it, virtually every professional practice could use it!
Also the implications for the tourism industry are fantastic. Book a car, a room, a conference centre, an overhead projector - all online!!
Let's hear what you think and if you are a developer who would be interested in such a mod - please post!
ALL Credit for this idea goes to the original poster - wherever you are!!
Regards,
Christo65

the best thing I've found, sorry it isn't postnuke, is:

the author is keeping it current. So perhaps he would consider tweaking it. I've written him.

We are currently working on a reservation system for postnuke its features include
1 online reservations
2 Collection of reservation deposit using postkart
3 scheduling accomplished with postcallendar
We will make this available as a module when we finish, any suggestions are appreciated for the development of this for the community -

Did this module ever become a reality? What site is working on it? -
